You Coffee Roasters is a story started Twelve years ago in Uganda a country located in the East of Africa.This story has turned into reality and with you i can make it a memorable journey. I have a background in coffee cultivation, processing, grading and most of all Barista Skills. With all these accomplishments you can surely trust us with your coffee palate.

ROAST LEVELS
Roasting unlocks the aroma and flavor inside of “green coffee” beans, or beans that have been milled but not yet roasted. The roasting process causes chemical changes to take place as the beans are rapidly brought to very high temperatures. When they reach the desired roast level, the beans are quickly cooled to halt the process.
At You coffee Roasters i carefully and precisely choose our roast profiles based on the desired end goal of a particular Coffee to cultivate/ pronounce most of its characteristics
Our Hand Crafted Coffee Roast Levels
LIGHT ROAST
Many people assume that the strong, rich flavor of darker roasts indicates a higher level of caffeine but, in fact, light roasts have a slightly higher concentration.
Most of our coffees are light roasted to a select flavor standard, rather than to a specific color. This level of roasting creates coffees with balanced flavor and full aromatics, allowing enthusiasts to distinguish taste differences attributed to coffee origins and qualities.
Our single origin coffees will fall in this profile and its very suitable for Craft Brewing/ Pour overs.
MEDIUM ROAST
Vienna Roast: Vienna Roast is the lightest of our dark roasts and is characterized by a slightly deeper color than our Light Roast.
ESPRESSO ROAST
Our Espresso Roast coffees are roasted light enough to retain delicate aromatics, yet dark enough to moderately caramelize sugars within the beans. It’s roasted with precision and it doesn’t have oils upon cooling.
Through the years of experience as a Barista, Roaster and coffee quality Technicians, we’ve noticed that coffees with a lot of oils tend to ware out Grinder blades and Brewing Equipment drastically for that reason we tend to lean more on lightly roasted coffees. If you are passionate about Darker coffees our Espresso Roast is your ideal coffee for you.
Management Team
You coffee roasters was established by Alex who throughout his life had passion , he has had a passion to craft the perfect coffee, a passion that was started and fueled by his journey as a coffee enthusiast/ Expert. He moved to America a couple years ago, bringing with him the special Coffee quality skills he acquired from years of experience as a Professional Barista, Roaster and Quality manager in Uganda . Now he is finally starting his own business where he can share his highly crafted skills and his love for specialty coffee. Alex acquired skills from the coffee Quality Institute of America and American Coffee Specialty Association. He later joined New England Coffee company as a Quality Specialist, here he acquired operations, marketing and management skills during the time of his employment.
